Kyle Harrington, Founder of San Diego's HBA Academy
Based in San Diego, California, Kyle Harrington is the founder of HBA Sports Academy, which helps children ages 12 to 18 find placement in Division 1 sports programs throughout the United States. HBA Sports Academy coaches youth through the recruitment process, including introducing them to college programs and scholarships and also recommending different coaches for different types of training. Prior to launching the academy in San Diego, Kyle Harrington focused his career on finance.
As a founding partner of Harrington Capital Management, he managed portfolios for high-net-worth individuals and corporations. Previously, he served as managing director of a private client group for Deutsche Bank and senior vice president for Wachovia, both in San Francisco.
Mr. Harrington has lent his financial expertise to television programs, covering a wide variety of topics for Fox News in San Diego and serving as a financial contributor for KUSI. He holds a bachelor's from Princeton University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is proficient in Spanish and holds a black belt in Tang Soo Do.
